VIN decoding

having trouble decoding my 1957 VIN...I tried the decoding sites, but I have too many digits...I assume this is because its Canadian??? (tag says General Motors Of Canada)...Anything I have researched is American, only 9 digits.
Door post tag says VIN-73637SD804532 ENG-N9144811...any help at all would be great, thanks folks

What are you trying to figure out?
Most of the info about your car is on the the other tag, under the hood.

The Canadian built cars have a tag on the left door pillar which gives Model, Serial, and Engine numbers. The tag inside the engine compartment shows the Style, Body number, paint and Trim.
You can go to these people to get the information on your car from historical records.
