Found one on E-bay, it's an original with the dog ears and greasy prints to boot...it looks like it will be a treasure trove of knowledge I hoped that it would be. I'm excited to get started.

I'm sure there are other owners with manuals out there, but if you own a model year that my book covers, don't hesitate to ask if there is something I can look up for you. I'm technically inclined so I'm sure we can get some documents out the book for you if needed.

 

Hi: I just boughrt a really nice 1951 Olds "88A" 2/dr sedan, it is show quality !!!
Crest Blue with just about everything "NEW" incl. paint, tires, interior,wiring ,radiator,steering box,all bright work is high quality,detailed engine compartment & undercarriage !!
it is a real good one.

 

Congrats on finding an original shop manual. I'm in the process of trying to find one for my 1950 88 Club Coupe and I was wondering if there was any way you could post a picture of the cover on your manual? There are so many reprints out there, I'm not sure if I'm looking at an original or not. Seeing yours would help point me toward an authentic reprint. Thanks, Evans1.
