It's hard to go wrong with Monroe shocks. They have been around a long time (like me). Larry

I can also support Monroe. The ones on my '55 are still doing well after MANY years. Rock Auto has some @ $14.81 & $27.89 + shipping. Shop around.

I like Monroe too. When I lowered my Cutlass I put in KYB shocks. I found them to be too stiff and replaced the front with Monroe sensa track or something like that. Rides much better and smoother.

During my restoration I replaced my shocks out of the Usa Parts Supply catalog. They weren't gas filled but the cheaper generic units and they were not labeled with a manufacture name, to this day my 55 rides better than any car I own or have owned, they are now almost fifteen years old.... Your millage may differ.... Tedd
