This is the Olds convertible my Dad bought in San Diego California when he got out of the Navy. Can someone positively identify the year and model for me??? Thank you!

 

1950 Eighty Eight convertible coupe.

 

Thank you Joe! Dad bought this car in 1955. Do you know how many colors it would have been available in? This looks to be a darker color with a white top. Hard to tell from a black & white photo but do you have any guesses?

Thanks again Joe! According to the chart I would guess Maroon, Red, or Brown and if I had to make a real stab at it I would go with Chariot Red. Here is another picture with his siblings and the car in the background.
