How to repaint my engine

Hi guys, any tips how to repaint my engine in my 57 olds. Just want to refresh it but I don't want to use aerosol cans.any tips greatly appreciated

You can get a quart of the correct engine paint from. Hirsch. Strip all the accessories and other things like the carb, distributor and brackets. You can use tin foil to cover fuel lines and electrical harnesses. The rest is taping and papering, Be sure it is really clean before you start. It takes some time but you can make it look good without pulling the engine. It is a good time for paining brackets, generator and other parts. Post pictures when you are done.

Good video and he has a pretty straightforward simple process that makes sense. Of course it would be much more difficult with the engine still in the car.
