New to the forums. Just starting to restore my 56 Starfire. I've pulled the seats and gutted the carpet, now I know why the misses was complaining about the heat and exhaust smell The floor is in need of a little repair.

All I can say is have fun while you are doing that job. You can put me in the been there done that catagorey , except I did the floor in my brother's 52 chev Styleline. I posted some of the pics at http://photobucket.com/wolfman98

I've seen floor pans for '55 &'56 on Ebay quite often as well as '57 & '58...

 

If you cannot find floorpans you could always take a grinder with wire wheel to it and find bad spots . then do the repair yourself or find someone who does metalwork to weld new metal in and then use an appropriate productto keep it from rusting again . Someone who is talented could also make new floorpans but could be too costly. Anyway I hope you the best of luck finding what you need.
