Front shocks.

i am going to replace the shocks on my 56. The rears are no problem but the fronts I wanted to order a pair of KYB's and was told by someone with another 56 that 70-74 Dodge Challenger shocks will fit. Anyone have an idea about this? I am also going to lower it by cutting 1 to 2 coils in the front. I will start with 1 then try 1 1/2 and see where it's at but I want new shocks first.

360scamp. You might look at dropping your tire side wall size down to 60's or 50's you will achieve the same visual effect as cutting the springs and you can still use stock shocks. Car will probably drive a lot better also.. Tedd
