Engine shop recommendations in NY area

Need the 324 in my 55 rebuilt. Anyone have a recommendation for a shop in the NY area that is versed in rebuilding these engines? Thanks in advance.

Give Bill Travato a call. He is well known for high-quality High-Performance Olds builds. He may do standard builds or be able to recommend a shop closer to you.

Fenian16,
Keep in mind that I have some gorgeous N.O.S. parts for that 1955 OLDS 324 motor ---
N.O.S. U.S.A. made Camshaft, and N.O.S. +++ G M +++ in the G M boxes Valve Lifters , to top the list !!!!!!

The best engine rebuilder in the world can't make a engine purrr , with Chineseum parts...
The motor can't purrrrr ('cause the kitty is in the food with the msg !!!!!!!)

Long Live America !!!!!!!
Yours, Craig ....... 516 - 485 - 1935 ..... West Hempstead, Long Island, New York....

In NJ, I've been using Bontempo Brothers Competition. They are in Linden, and only about 10 minutes from the Goethals bridge. They did my 55 in 1982, and most of my other builds since then.

PCHS racing engines in Bohemia. Ritchie has been there for thirty plus years and has done multiple engines for me. Very well known on Long island.
