All about Fuses for 1938 olds

what size amp fuse for 1938 olds for brake light and directional lights. Right now i am using 9 amp and they work but then blow.. i don't want to go higher because i risk a fire from a short.,. so hoping i can get the standard normal size.. anyone know...thanks Liz

I know little of 6 volt systems but if you put a post on this forum under 1946 how many have them you should get a reply from the fat fender guys, that thread never dies and they are very knowledgeable on the early stuff.

thanks Grace., that has all been checked and for the most part new.. just cannot find in the book what size fuse it actually should have.. hate quessing..

i can't seem to find anything out on that fuse either. i have checked out all the older mechanics i can think of. hope you find out soon. i am very suprised no body here has that information.
