57 Olds Convertible Top

Question on a 57 olds 98 Convertible. Has anyone on here ever replaced the convertible top on your own? Or had a shop do it? I am very mechanical but contemplating this. Maybe.

Had mine done by a shop, it's doable DIY but there is a lot more to it than meets the eye. Choose your projects wisely there is nothing worse than a top that looks like a bag of walnuts.... Tedd

Yep, i agree with you Tedd. Looking at the manual and you tubes, but some times that does not mean much. Will probably have it done by a shop. Plus it is more of a two person job.
