Guys, we had to fabricate the rear bump outs for a 57 olds 98 convertible my dad and I are restoring. I can't find any pictures of what they are supposed to look like and the bump outs we started with were so rusted it left a lot to our imagination.

Could someone with a 57 olds 98 convertible take a picture of the rear arm rest/bump out area with the top down and the boot off? I'd be so greatful if any of you could help.

We're spinning our wheels here.

ivmachine, I probably can't help but could post a picture of what you call rear bump outs, I'm confused as to what they are. I may have a picture of what you need in my arcives.Probably not though.....Tedd

What I'm looking for are the armrests in the back seat. It's comprised of an upper and lower piece. I can't figure out how far the upper piece goes and how it clears the convertible top assembly. Every picture I've seen of the armrest shows it with the boot on so it's been difficult to figure this out. Thanks for the reply.
