My 56 88 has manual steering, I am planning a swap to a newer (possibly the grand Cherokee) power steering box.
I kept a Power Steering column out of a another 56, but I didn't grab the power steering
pitman arm.
Will my manual steering arm work or do I need one off a power box?
I'm running a 455 so the pump and brackets are no problem.

 

I've been researching swapping a 605 steering box into a '56 and from what I've been told you need the original manual pitman arm. So you may be in luck.
