Hi All
​​​​​​Looking to replace the rear vent window glass on both sides of my 55 four door sedan. I have donor glass but can't for the life of me figure out how to get the glass out of the frame...or even get the frame that the glass sits in off the vertical channel. Everything seems to be riveted in place. ​​​​Anyone have any experience with this? Any help would be appreciated.

You need the 1955 factory Olds service manual. Back then the body service procedures were included in it, and that will tell you how to R&R your quarter vent windows.

I don't know if this will help; there is something on page 16-8 (410) of the 1955 Oldsmobile Shop Manual.
