54 olds seats

hi ,any body ever put bucket seats in a 54 olds ,if so what kind and did you have to do any mod work ,reason i ask when i got car it had no seats thanks JOE

I don't remember which sub-forum but there was a thread about mounting bucket seats in an early sixties Oldsmobile. It was fairly informative and could be used as a general guideline. I think if you are fairly good at fabrication and are one of the resourceful type you could do it well and safely. Probably a nice set of lowback seats would work. Good luck.

saw this on some web site, a custom 1956 with 62-65 impala seats. Been thinking about doing this type of seats on mine but making the upholstery mimic the factory bench seat design.

Here is a 62 Starfire being parted out with a nice set of buckets if he still has them. And the left seat is power. These would look nice in a 54 since they are low back.
