3rd member Gear ratio for 47 olds?
Does anyone know wat the gear ratio would be for a 1947 6 straight engine & for the 1947 8 straight engine on a 1947 olds business coupe model 66 & 68

1st gear (6 cylinder 2.666:1)--- (8 cylinder 2.666:1) 2nd gear (6 cylinder 1.661:1( (8 cylinder 1.661:1) 3rd gear (6 cylinder Direct) (8 cylinder Direct) Gear Ratios. I hope this helps you. Good luck. RC
