1957 Oldsmobile 88 inner door panel repair, retaining clips, and inner wheel well?

Good morning, I am in the process of prepping for some sheet metal repair. In doing so I removed the inner door panel. There are missing clips and no surprise the outer edges of the door panel are somewhat deteriorated. I am looking for any suggestions on how to repair or strengthen these areas. Also I've attached photos of the inside of the door panel, two of the clips and two of the passenger rear wheel well area that has some needed rust repair. In this area I am trying to understand if the uneven area along the outside edges of the wheel well is original or if it has been 'mudded' over. Any thoughts are welcome. Thanks, David

I should have shared this earlier... I was able to locate the proper clips at www.restorationspecialties.com and part #2783. I found that the 'mudded' looking area was a filler with fiberglass fibers patch that covered up rust areas. I've cleaned it up and will head the car over to a restoration shop. I will attempt to repair the inner door panel with some aluminum pieces that I will cut to fit the notch areas to which the clips fasten. Those pieces will be epoxied to the inner panel. Before I start the repair work I will we the inner panel with sizing and press it flat.
