1956 glass

A friend of mine has several pieces of old auto glass. There was a windshield and rear glass that appear to go together. The rear glass has a "lost tag permit" sticker from Florida on it. The sticker says 1956 Olds 4-dr. The glass is in great condition and he is a car guy so he saved it. What should he do with the glass?

Ok. What is a reasonable price for these pieces?

If the glass is clear and no chips I would say $450+, if you search around you may find a listing out there.

Thanks. I suspected it would be in that price range.

I think that is a little high, I bought a new windshield for my 55 for just about that price new about a year ago with additional $90 shipping.I would think used would be about 1/2 of new....Just my thoughts, your milage may differ....Tedd...... here is a link that may help....http://www.sandersreproglass.com/

I thought he recommended $450 for both the front and rear glass that he had

Yes I meant for both, as Tedd mentioned you can find new for around $400 each.
I should have mentioned about posting it in the parts for sale forum;

You will need to research some to determine if you own glass from a 4dr post sedan or a 4dr hardtop as they are different.
