1954 transmission finish

Hi I haven't posted much before but have belonged to this forum since 2007. I have a 54 98 four door which I have had since 74 and my dad bought it new. Question I have what finish is the transmission. Is it natural or black? Also does anyone know where I can find the rear bumper guards? My exhaust eat the right one out in the early 70's and I took them off.

Larry

All the slant pans that I have seen that I know were orignal were natural in color. Can't help you on the bumper guards other than keep a eye on Evil bay like the rest of us....Tedd

I've got one sitting in a equipment shed that is natural(with rust) with no paint .The one on my 55 is green but I'm sure I made it that way about 15 years ago....Tedd
