Trying to remove the valves. Spring compressed but cannot figure out what is holding the valve in place. I feel there should be some retainers but cannot seem to see them to remove. Can anyone give me any help?? Anyone have a picture of how the valve is held in place? Scratching my head at this point.

There has to be a keeper and a seal as well as the guide. Try calling Egge Machine Co.
http://www.egge.com/contact.shtml They specialize in engines no one else will touch.
If anyone knows they will or they will know someone who does.
