1938 Australian sloper Oldsmobile

for sale on the local epay site.

thought some might like to see the different body style, these were manufactured by the local GM subsidiary Holden. production stopped in '48

not my favorite body style. Locally Ford and GM had the same style for 2 door sedans. we called them 'sloper' (s) for the sloping back.

we also had Ute versions of these.

Grille looks familiar to those of us in the U.S. but the body is uniquely Holden. Kind of a cool looking "Sloper" Thanks for the photos. Always something to learn in Oldsmobile land.

I love the symmetry of the dash, almost as though it had been designed to be left or right. The only real difference is the shifter is on the left.
The steering wheel is cool.
