Trany mount

Wanna replace my trany mount (th400) does anyone make a poly one or should I just go rubber?

Why deal with any vibration from a stiffer mount? I would just go with the rubber one. They seem to last a long time.

I have to agree with the above. There is a noticeable increase in vibration with the Energy Suspension trans mount on both of my cars. On the 69 it doesn't really bother me, that car has solid motor mounts. You feel all the vibrations from the engine! The 87 cutlass has stock motor mounts, after a couple hours in the car I didn't notice it anymore. Just noticeable right after installation.

They aren't very expensive, just pick up a poly one at the parts store. If you don't like you can always go to the rubber one. I've used both it really doesn't improve anything.
