What brand\model of fftermarket Floor Shift do you like

Just want to start thinking about auto Floor shifter upgrade that will be soon to come. What is your favorite, or one you'd like to get someday.
Im wanting form and function. (looks and bad *** performance)

Its for a mild 455\Th400 setup, future plans of 500 hp or so rebuild.
Thx in advance.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but this is relevant to my search. I too need an aftermarket shifter. A while back I found a link to a guy who makes Factory style shifters for 2004r or 700r4 transmissions. IT was the whole kaboodle, not just a kit to switch a stock one over. you see, the problem is i dont have the shifter that should be on my car, I have a rusty old BM one someone else put on there before me.

Anyone else remember seeing that link somewhere. I have Googled it, search this site, amongst others, and I can not find it. The price was very reasonable.

The company is called Shiftworks. The sell a modified gate, indictor lens< and other parts to swap a 4 speed trans and use the factory shifter. Depending on what trans you have now< it might also require a shifter cable. Unless you really want the console, Im guessing it would be MUCH cheaper to swap in a aftermarket shifter. I like the Hurst Quarterstick, the B&M Mega shifter is another good one.

I really like the B&M Star Shifter as well as the Mega-Shifter. For my application, my cutlass has a column shifter, which I like. I find as I get older, I appreciate the practicality of a shifter that is out of the way until you need it.

Hurst quarter stick.
Simple, bullet proof, extremely positive shifts.
And for some whacky reason I always think Oldsmobiles should use Hursts.

The b&m pro stick has been in my car for 7 years. One time at the track i actually banged 3rd hard enough to rip the rear bolts through the floor lol.
