transmission leaks

i recently pulled my motor out of my 1973 olds 98...I have the 455 now at my local machine shop being rebuilt...I noticed that my transmission is leaking when i was pulling the motor..the leak appears to be coming from the front as there was trans oil on the plastic bell housing cover...My question is when i go to autozone.com all the seals are stating except for hydomatic transmission...What transmission do i have in my car..I know its stock...Is it a th400 ,,What seals do i need?

You need the front pump seal part number 6712NA. I put on in every time I pull a engine out and don't have the transmission rebuilt.

I agree with Andy. Just replaced my front pump seal. It was hard and brittle and not flexible at all. Which of course, explains why it was leaking all over the place.
