What 5 speed?

Hey guys,
Looking for anyone who's done a 5 speed in a '72 A body. Don't want to do the Tremec, too much involved. Any others that'll work?
Engine will be 500+hp/tq small block.

Thanks!!

I think Richmond made a 5 speed that was pretty stout. Don't blame you about the Tremec because of possibly having to modify the tunnel. Doug Nash also had a 5 speed that was used in drag cars but not sure if it was a synchronized unit other not.

Mark, not sure if there still available I have the Legend LGT700 5 speed in a 70 it fit with no floor modifications. I got it from Bowler Transmission but Waldon Speed Shop and Jodys Transmissions had them available at the time. McLeod has one also but not as strong.

Good thing I didn't know that when I started. Not only trans tunnel but floor reinforcing and driveshaft tunnel (to maintain geometry of u-joint angles).
