Aluminum bellhousing

Got a bellhousing with a '56 Olds I bought, has raised numbers on outer rail that mounts to engine, CB24241 and 1559190. Trying to identify it, appears to be for a four speed. Has couple screened over openings that looks original.

More info, the hole in it for trans is 7", has oval screen in top above where trans mount, has no hole for clutch fork and starter mounts on driver side. There is another square 5" x5" screened hole on lower passenger side. The only engines that I can think of with a starter on drivers side was Pontiac?
