Hello - new member with a '65 Cutlass automatic 2-speed column shift. I just got a correct '65 console to convert to floor shift, but no shifter or wiring. Can't find a '65 floor shifter. I've heard of the '78 and up floor shifter option, but what is the last year that can be used? I've seen some auto floor shifters for '80's Regals, Grand Nationals, & Cutlass, but wonder how far past '78 will work, or if there is an optimal year. Advice? Thanks!
