Need Help, I'm looking for a automatic shifter Hhandle thats in the console.Unless some one knows where I can get parts to repair the push buttton mechanism in the top part of the Tn handle.

I need the same for my '66. The handle is fine, but the internal link is broken at the top of the shaft. No one makes a replacement. I have scoured every Olds wrecking yard in the country and that part is long gone. I found one link on this site from 2013 where the cure was to remove the broken shaft, weld a small extension and then replace the button handle with an aftermarket aluminum piece with a similar button - designed to push the rod down. (posted by 66luvr on 2 Apr. 2013) The other option is a replacement shaft and integrated handle that Dynacorn makes for the '66-7 Chevelle and Impala. The function is the same as the Olds unit, but the handle has an oblong button on the top that you depress. Not sure how much modifying would have to be done to the base.
I am not happy with either fix as I prefer the original look.
