"O" Axle gear swap help

I have a friend going 2.55 to 3.23 he has the 673 carrier. Short of finding a 671 carrier anyone make a ring gear spacer or another way it can be done?

Use the search function - there was a recent post where someone bought a spacer from monzaz (I think).
