Switch Pitch RPM Difference?

Jetaway Transmission (1:1 Ratio in Drive)
2.78:1 Rear Axle
25" Diameter Tires (245/60-14)

Is there a noticeable difference in engine RPM between high and low stall positions?
We get 2200 engine RPM either way, with the throttle idle switch wired down. (To set in high stall).
With the switch wired down, we notice a higher stall speed as expected, just no difference in RPM.

To put this another way, the wiki page on the Jetaway says that high stall provides toque multiplication of 1.33 (2.45/1.765).
We were thinking that there should be a given correspondence in engine RPM when high stall is toggled/engaged.

Thanks for any help.
