I am an old new guy when it comes to oldsmobiles, I was raised and still am a MOPAR guy. Anyway I am trying to sell a W-30 Hurst Olds 74 model and a guy told me that the th400 came stock with a 3500 stall converter in the Hurst W-30 cars. he also said that the tag on trans should read XO on it. I knew about the vp converters around 1968 I think. So i never heard of a 3500 stall coming out as OEM. Can someone help this old guy out here? Did or didn't?
