59-60 olds hydramatic interchange with pontiac, cadillac bell swap?

Forgive me if this info is on here but i have scoured the net to no avail. I have a 1960 olds 394 and have many options on buying 59 and 60 pontiac and cadillac units. From what I have read these units are the same but obviously the bell housing is different. Does anyone know if they can be used with a bell swap? Thanks!

Those HydraMatics should bolt right up to your 1960 Olds bell after removing the Pontiac or Cadillac adapter. I would think you'd need the Olds TV rod and linkage.

Hopefully d2willys will see this. He's the HydraMatic guru here.

Thanks, I found a post from someone looking for the same 60 olds, they had posted that the catalina/ventura/grand prix will not work but the caddies will,
however from the pics the caddy tail section does look much longer so im not sure if the rear section of the unit can be transfered without tearing everything down. I cant believe there were so many differences within the gm company at the time each year. So many differences on every model for same year
