I think you're also going to have to let us know what tire size you're running if you want an accurate speedo.

 

And you're most likely going to have to change both the drive and driven gears.

You won't know what you have to change until you rip it apart and see what you have now.
Then often you can get close enough with just 1 swapped.
Depends. This is a 700R4 but it shows you the gear setup.

 

i just spoke with the good folks a t Summit regarding the same issue. they said to find out the size of the "drive" gear first. then use the calculators (final drive, tire height, etc) to choose a "driven" gear.

 

Thanks for the replies. I will have to check my tire height and look on those sites. I had no idea that you'd have two gears to possibly change. I'd be happy with just getting it close, hopefully one gear change works. How do you find out the size of the drive gear?

 

it's like a ring and pinion. changing either one effectively changes the final gear ratio. but offering several options of both gears, you have way more options for final ratios. this allows for accuracy under a wider array of set-up conditions (tire sizes, and gear ratios).
