What is this part?

Part 8619953. Not sure what part of a JT this is. I think it’s mid 60s

I'm pretty sure that nothing in the 64-69 Jetaway is cast iron. That looks more like this pump assembly from the 1956-60 Jetaway.

I was too shy (or smart enough) not to make a guess that it was part of a pump body but I was leaning toward a power steering pump, glad I didn't say it.

Pat, closest Olds number I can find is 8619951 which is 56-60 Jetaway front pump.

With that group number 20, wonder if it's truck HydraMatic, Cadillac commercial chassis or maybe military spec. Don't know offhand when tanks moved away from HydraMatic.

GM Parts wiki says discontinued Dec '81. Not in any of my Olds books through '63.

8619953 is listed in my digital '65 Cadillac book as fitting '56 thru '64 Series 75 and Commercial Chassis.
