Is there a 2004r dust cover that matches 400ci block?

Put 2004r overdrive trans on back of a 67 400 442 motor.

The trans came from a Monte SS.

Is there a dust cover that is going to fit the 2004r and 400 block?

Or is the UNIVERSAL my only hope?

I know people have done this modification so I assume there is a dust cover that fits.

Thanks,

D

Any 1982-1990 GM car with a 200-4R and Olds 307 will have the correct dust cover.

I used the dust cover from my 307, with my 350 and 403 blocks without an issue. The headers did melt a small area between the last 2 bolts on the rt side. I pulled out the shears and trimmed a little to quiet the start-up noise from the cover getting pummeled by the flex plate: easy to understand who won that bought (plastic vs. steel). I'm looking for a replacement at my neighborhood "205 GM Only Auto Salvage" in Portland, Orygun, only because I would like to see a nicer view underneath. Otherwise it serves its purpose as 2 parts.

BTW, don't forget the Brougham and other Cadillacs that sport the TH200-R4.
