TH400 switch pitch + gear vendor?

This is really a thought for the day I win the lottery (any lottery, even a little one), but two recent threads got me to wondering: What would be the effect of the switch pitch torque converter if a GearVendor overdrive unit were attached to the TH400? Would the supplied computer handle shifts properly? Would it mean shifting only manually? Would it require replacing the switch pitch with a standard stall converter?

I emailed GearVendor last weekend, but no reply.

Yeah, it's a pipe dream, but what the hey - if I ever get to the point where I actually rebuild the engine and trans, gas is going to be $5-6/gallon, and that overdrive might even pay for itself in a few years...
