Hi guys. Is a th350 originally in a Oldsmobile car compatible with Chevrolet v8 engines? Or the BOP th350 are only compatible with BOP cars?

If the trans is from the 1970s, it likely is BOP-only. GM did eventually make TH350 cases with both bolt patterns starting in the late 1970s.

Prior to this, the Chevy and BOP cases were different. Chevy on the left, BOP on the right.

The engine is a beefed 1975 455 buick. So only BOP th400 will fit?
Should I worry about something else during the swap?
