Hello "ALL"; Is the factory manual transmission flywheel on a 215 oldsmobile engine compatable with a T5 transmission or does a different flywheel need to be used. I'm asking this question because I can purchase a 215 manual flywheel for $120.00...DON"T want to waste the money if the flywheel doesn't work with a T5 transmission....THANKS to all responses/advice....& ALL Veterans on this Memorial Day Weekend....Mark

There are different versions of the 215 flywheel. Some have a deep flange on the OD, presumably for to make for smoother shifting in heavier cars. Also, which 215 input shaft do you have? If you have the 4/6 cylinder version with the 1" x 14 spline input shaft, your clutch disk choices are limited to 9 1/8", 9 5/8" and the rare 11" Astro Van version. Anything else needs to be custom-made. See my response to your other post. D&D sells bellhousings, adapter plates, flywheels, etc for this conversion.
