Steel or aluminum torque converter dust cover for Oldsmobile with a TH400?

Hello all,

Looking to see if anyone can recommend a steel or aluminum torque converter dust cover for the TH400 and a big block Olds engine.

I am not looking for the plastic version, had too many split/crack.

What models and years had these metal ones?

Does anyone have one in good shape available for sale?

Not sure what year 400 came out, 66-67? But I thin k the early ones were metal, and plastic after 69?

The first use of the TH400 by Olds was in the 1965 full size cars. Olds A-body cars got it in the 1967 model year. Early covers are stamped steel. Later ones are plastic. The only aluminum covers were used on 4WD trucks.

I usually pitch those in the trash LOL. I haven't ran one of those on my cars in 20+ years.

My 72 has the original plastic cover and works OK for me! Each to their own!
