Shifter

Ok, 68 cutlass 2 speed trans installing overdrive trans....how do i get to keep my shifter?

Column or floor shifter?

In any case, talk to Shiftworks. They USED to sell a four speed AT conversion for the factory console shifter, but it is no longer listed on their website. They might still be able to sell you one if you talk to them.

Just called them up and he swore up and down it was on his site but i looked and looked. He still will make them so i am in luck...its 175.00 but worth it. Shame is all i need is the face plate and shift pattern plate but he is selling the enire kit cable and all....the nice thing is the face plate looks just like the original...

Ah, I just clicked on the 67-69 button and didn't even look further down the list. The 67-69 page only shows the three speed conversion from the "Powerglide" shifter.

(Don't get me started on that... )
