Shifter for '67 4 speed?

Trying to do homework for possible project.

Putting a regular M20 1970 Muncie 4 speed into 67 442.

What shifter model do I use as I can't match anything up via catalogs...

Hurst Competition Plus is what I'm shooting for.

I'm assuming match the installation kit to the 70 Muncie.

On the shifter, I still assume match the 70 muncie, but is there an issue on 'console' for the 67?

even if i had 67 muncie, i don't see a '67 442 w/console' listed for Hurst.

Any thoughts? there have to be 442s out there with newer trans.

The "new" competition plus shifters are available from summit and the parts place. The price for a shifter and rods about $500

I would go with a Long racing shifter instead

The Comp plus design uses the stock hole in the floor. Most racing shifters like the vertical gate, Long (afaik), Hurst Super Shifter use a hole farther back, and may need the floor hump jacked away from the trans to clear the rods. Early Muncies with the 27 spline powerglide output size are 1/2" shorter than the late ones that have the Turbo 400 32 spline output. Also, later Muncies use a bolt to retain the shift levers, so they have a slot with a bigger round hole in the middle. Early Muncies use a stud and nut retention so the lever has a slot only to hold it to the trans shift fork and side cover.
