Picture of a 70-72 4 speed no console?

Anybody got a picture of a 442/cutlass interior without a console? Curious how the shifter hump looks just hanging out...

In 1970 if your car came with a floor shifter did it have a hump always??, and if it had a console, the console went over the hump? Or is the hump only for no console?

All 1970 442 & Cutlass 4 speed cars have the same hump. The console would go right over it. You can get a replacement 4 speed hump from Fusicks for 69.00. Are you going to install a shifter that lines up with the factory opening in the floor?

I have the replacement hump, and the car appears to have "had" a hump, the previous racer put an indy four speed shifter in, which moved it back and up.. I am looking to relocate back to original

What is left of your hump, looks real. Your car had a console. The rear bracket is welded next to the seat.

Nice.

I am liking this buckets/manual setup more than a buckets/console/manual combo. Prob do this setup as opposed to getting my column shift TH350 done.

Not sure if you meant me,but I have anything & everything to do a complete 4-spd conversion.I don't have time right now to get parts out for pictures, but the picturs I did post are my parts.Once the holidays are over,I can get a break between the snowfalls, and I can take some individual pictures. I also just completed a 455/4-spd conversion on SKryla442 72 442 convertible, and he left a message about it in the feedback section on ROP.I have another car scheduled for the same thing,as soon as there is a break in the weather,to get it here.

I love how basic and no nonsense the no console with buckets and a 4 speed look. I have the same setup in mine stock and I have had several people say they didnt know these cars came this way.
