Metric 200 install with a 1962 215 in an F85.

Hi,
Looking for advice from anyone that has gone through this. I have an opportunity to pick up a recently rebuilt metric 200 to replace the Roto 5. It is from a mid 80's V6 Olds so it does have the BOP bell housing. From what I've read there is minimal modification needed to the trans tunnel to get it to work, which is what I wanted. I just have other questions regarding getting everything else connected, shifter/speedo cable/TV cable/driveshaft, etc.
If you have done this, or know of a source (thread) on the subject, I'd greatly appreciate your input.

Thanks!

Hi,

I could be mistaken but believe the 215 have a unique bellhousing so you might need an adapter.

Regards,
Jim

D&D sells that adapter kit, which has the adapter plate and a modified flexplate. Unfortunately the kit requires a Chevy-pattern TH200, not the BOP-pattern.
