Jetaway leak

Hi All,

I jsut bought a 66 Cutlass and there is a tranny leak. Now I am not familiar at all with these trannys so any help would be great.

The guy I cought it from told me where the leak was but I can't remember off hand what it was but he said that the part that was leaking had no gasket and that is how they came originally and they were prone to leaks. Mechanics back in the 60's he was told used silicone caulking or some other such product to seal the leaky part and now they use some other kind of sealant.

Does this sound right?

Please help!

Dipstick tube, pan, modulator, pin connecter. These are your leak points. One gasket and three o-rings. None of which should require RTV.
