Installing console with automatic shifter

hello all, does anyone have any advice on details or specs on installing an automatic floor shift in a Cutlass with original column automatic. Not sure what the dimensions are for cutting into housing or position on floor etc. Is there a template or any info that could help. Thanks
Mike

I should have stated its a 1967 Cutlass. I have the mounting brackets and did order them from Fusick. The mechanic thats installing them said he wished he had a template or some specs or details for where to mount on the floor. Its the short console that came in the 67 Cutlass

Hello Mike
Please give us a little more information. What year of car are you working on? The factory mounting brackets were welded to the floor board. Do you have those? If not, they are repop'ed and I believe Fusick or Year One has them.

I looked but couldn't find it here. Lo and behold it was on the first page of the section on the "other" site.

Thanks, I know its helped a few brothers out.

BTW, Mike the OP, is working on a 67. Any idea if the measurements might be the same?
