The 1967 and 1968 vehicles received a year, month and day designator, Because the 3885010 casting was used in both 1966 and 1967, the case WITHOUT the year designator is the 1966 model.

The 1969-1974s received a year, month, day and ratio designator. Now you can tell what ratio the transmission had without looking inside. Its still a good habit to double check the gears to confirm the ratio because often times ratios were switched around.
