Hurst Pistol Grip Quarter stick shifter
Anyone mount one of these before? I have a feeling it's going to be a PITA.

Oh ok yeah it wont be too hard. The hardest part is getting the hole for the wire in the correct spot . I had to make mine as mine was a column shift. The rest is easy bolt in the shifter and braket provided that bolts to the trans pan bolts . They provide longer bolts and spacers ., then adjust so that park is in park etc. and that pretty much it.

I had a Hurst Pistol grip shifter in my 1971 GTX 440+6 with a HEMI 4 speed and Dana 60 rearend with 4.11 gears from the factory. Sure do miss that car, not just because it would be worth $150,000 today.
I was @ the Daytona Flea Market over the weekend and was looking at one vendors pistol grips, trying to find one like I have on my 357 mag but he didn't have anything remotely similar. Was thinking of adding one to my B&M shifter in my car.

I made the mistake of getting the plastic cover, the mounting plate with it doesn't work very well. Ordered the aluminum bracket and cover. Looks like the aluminum bracket may line up with the holes already there. It's not mounted yet in the pic.
