Since i found only expencive tools for engine stands or tablestands for turning the tranny and work easy with it i deside to make a own one i can easy bolt on the main plate for a engine stand...
Nice job! I made a "belly tee" for removing that clutch pack that's way in the rear of some automatics. No where near as fancy as yours! It was just 2 2x4's made into a tee with a notch at the bottom of the tee. Use my big belly to push down on clutch pack and remove clip with snap ring pliers. Pretty crude but worked!
Nice work. That's all the expensive ones are - a "U" shaped frame with pins and clamp screws. I got lucky and found my Kent Moore tool at a swap meet for reasonable bucks (plus, I collect tools like that), but your home brew version is more than adequate.
Thanks, late update,,but it was painted aswell, and now ready to use..will test it soon,, been busy building garage, workbench and a tranny "corner" work Place. I try to hang on it With my 80kilos and it feels solid..lol
