clutch disc specs 55 olds
Hi all still looking for clutch parts, does anyone have a book that showes the specs for my 55 olds manual clutch disc, I am measuring 11 inch, 10 spline with 1 1/4 input shaft on trans, am I measuring wrong? as most everything I see listed for my car is 1 1/8, I am calling Fort Wayne clutch today, but if I can find the specs it may help Thanks

Pages 10-1 through 10-7 of the 1955 Oldsmobile shop manual are devoted to the clutch. Pages 10-6 and 10-7 have the following specifications:
1. Type: 11CF
2. Clearance between hub & splines on clutch shaft: 0.00175" - 0.005"
3. Disc Facings:
a. Total area: 56.5 square inches
b. Inside diameter: 7"
c. Outside diameter: 11"
d. Number used: 2
e. Thickness: 0.136"
4. Driven disc assembly
a. Number used: 1
b. Overall thickness with clutch engaged: 0.315"
5. Pedal free movement: 1-1/8" to 1-3/8"
6. Pressure springs
a. Number used: 9
b. Compression pressure - pounds (std.): 147-1/2 @ 1-9/16"
1. Color: yellow
c. Compression pressure - pounds (heavy duty): 175 @ 1-9/16"
1. Color: orange
7. Release bearing
a. Thickness: 0.665"
b. Type: ball
8. Torque application:
a. Clutch to flywheel bolts: 14-17 ft.-pounds
b. Clutch release ball stud: 35-40 ft.-pounds
c. Clutch housing to block and flywheel housing bolt: 50-55 ft.-pounds
