Bellhousing Compatibility

Friend of mine has a bellhousing from a 1965 Pontiac and a Muncie M21 I'm looking at buying. Would the bellhousing work in my '70 Cutlass?

Assuming it's an original 65 Pontiac bell, yes. It should be casting number 9785581.

Awesome, thanks Joe!

It was on his '65 Pontiac Lemans before being replaced so probably original. I'll confirm the numbers next time I'm at his place.
