Anyone help me identify transmission?

I have this transmission that came out of a 69 cutlass. I can't verify that it was original to the car. Having trouble verifying using the transmission pan shape, i can't find any pan that matches this one.

I think 1968 was the last year for them, but its a super turbine 300 which was a 2 speed transmission that Oldsmobile used. Not a lot of demand for them as most people swap them out for TH350, TH400 or the HT200R4.
But that's what you've got.

Wow, thanks for the quick response, it was driving me crazy because I couldn't find anything before. From what I now researched I gather they are junk? Do you know if they are a direct swap for a TH350?

Yes, they are a direct swap for the TH350. Yep, most people refer to them as junk although a lot of cars drove them for many years. I've got several that I just can't bring myself to scrapping, but the only thing I've ever sold is the pan off one. John

1964 to mid-1969, when the TH350 was released. The 64-67 versions used by Buick and Olds had the switch-pitch torque converter. 68-69 versions did not, nor did the Pontiac versions in any year.
